• A is for Articles. Macaroni Kid offers timely articles each week about child safety, health and wellness, family travel, holidays, family-friendly activities, and more! We have giveaways and exclusive coupons and discounts on a regular basis! We also include a new recipe and a fun craft or science experiment to do with your kids following our Events Listings. Scroll through the web page to see the articles or use the Table of Contents on the left side of the web page. The articles are shortened on the website and in the newsletter ... simply click the pink READ MORE button to view the full article.
• B is for Businesses. Our sponsors make it possible for us to offer Macaroni Kid as a FREE service to you. Each local ad is approved and posted to the website by us, so we promise they are safe to click through, and they are all FANTASTIC, LOCAL businesses so you know where to go in your own community. Macaroni Kid’s Biz Directory gives you the full scoop on local family-friendly businesses, including location, full description, website links, and reviews from other parents! From kids’ classes to Disney Vacations to moms' groups, Macaroni Kid will help you find what you’re looking for.
• C is for Calendar. Macaroni Kid lists all the great events going on throughout Baltimore so you can spend your time PLAYING instead of SEARCHING! Check out the sections called This Week's Picks and Event Listings for help planning your week, or visit our Calendar page to see the entire month at a glance and view events on a specific date. We add events to the calendar as soon as we find out about them, so you'll find fun activities months in advance! And if we're missing something, you can tell us about it using the Submit an Event.

"My Macaroni" is one of my favorite features. When you click on a link to one of our events to get more information, you'll notice an "Add to My Macaroni" button at the bottom of the listing. Clicking on the plus sign will create a personalized list of events, just for your family. You can view this on the website at any time (under the large "My Macaroni" button above the Table of Contents), or you can print it to hang on your fridge or carry in your purse. I go through the Calendar each Sunday after the kids go to bed and plan our week through the next weekend! For those of you who use Google calendar, click that link to add an event right to your own calendar.

Did you notice the "Search" box on the top right side of the web page? Type in a keyword or two (like "craft" or "back to school") and you'll get a list of related articles and events.
